CIMMfest is excited to announce that it will play host to the Chicago premiere event of
 DJ Spooky's conceptual mashup performance of "VIDEO SOUL: WATTSTAX TO THE AVANT GARDE"

To kick the night off, there will be an opening DJ set by Soul Summit, followed by our awards ceremony where we honor the best of the fest. We will be awarding our filmmakers for
best narrative feature, best documentary feature, best narrative short, best documentary short, and best music video.

Following the awards ceremony, the much anticipated DJ Spooky performance of VIDEO SOUL will take place. And, to bring a close to not just the evening, but to the CIMMfest 2010 Festival, we will have a final DJ set by Soul Summit.
