Join Tony Sarabia (host of Radio M on Chicago Public Radio), Barbara Calabrese (chair of the Radio Department at Columbia College Chicago), and Shawn Campbell (president of the Chicago Independent Radio Project) for a discussion of the future of one of the most popular sources of information and entertainment of the twentieth century, and beyond.
Also including a special presentation on film distribution by Andrew Mer, VP of SnagFilms.

In a mini-master class for both the seasoned veteran and beginner, Marci Rolnik (Legal Director, Lawyers for the Creative Arts), Kevin Cooper (Amarok Productions, Columbia College faculty, producer, Secondhand Lions) and other experts explore the legal and business opportunities, as well as pitfalls, of creating music for film. Topics to be discussed include publishing rights, contracts, mechanical royalties, and legal fees, among others.
