PARTNERSHIPS

A LITTLE ABOUT OUR PARTNERS...

We are excited to announce the new distribution alliance between The Chicago International Movies and Music Festival (CIMMfest) and SnagFilms, and we invite you to participate in the inaugural online extension of CIMMfest on the SnagFilms platform.

With this groundbreaking initiative CIMMfest takes the lead in expanding the festival and the films we support beyond the confines of the bricks-and-mortar setting into the nearly boundless world of digital distribution. CIMMfest is thrilled to have the ability to offer your film(s) digital online distribution on the premier documentary distribution website. Recognizing CIMMfest’s distinguished and groundbreaking history of curatorial excellence, SnagFilms has agreed to consider for distribution all the documentary films we’ve ever supported including this year’s festival participants.

SnagFilms.com is a website where you can watch full-length documentary films for free, but it’s also a platform that lets you not only engage with films but also “snag” a film and put it anywhere on the web through viral distribution via virtual movie theatre widgets. The CIMMfest imprimatur will continue to live with your films through co-branding opportunities including the virtual multiplex theatre widget, which will contain all of CIMMfest’s films and a CIMMfest branded channel on SnagFilms.
