Wilco, Chicago’s favorite adopted musical sons, take to the big screens in their first concert film in preparation for the release of their 7th studio album. Shot in classic Americana clubs across the South, Ashes captures Jeff Tweedy and co. at the top of their game, alternating intimate acoustic numbers with earth-shaking arena rock. It features a set list from five stops on the band's 2008 tour: Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Tipitina’s in New Orleans, Mobile Civic Center in Mobile, The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and the 9:30 club in Washington DC. It also contains intimate backstage interviews with the band members. This is your only chance to see this film on the big screen.

Directors Brendan Canty (Fugazi) and Christoph Green will be at both shows to answer questions.
